Limoncello Spritz

A sweet, citrusy spritz from the Amalfi Coast. Limoncello, Prosecco, and soda create summer in a glass.

This spritz follows the familiar three-two-one shape (90 ml Prosecco, 60 ml limoncello, 30 ml soda), so it drinks sweet and citrusy. Keep the limoncello in the freezer and the Prosecco cold, so the ice melts slowly and the drink stays bright. The mint on top is worth it: its freshness works against the sugar.

Campania

Limoncello belongs to the Gulf of Naples, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, made from the zest of local lemons and traditionally served ice-cold in small glasses after dinner. The spritz moves it to the aperitivo hour, as a summer drink for a terrace above the sea.
