Artemide launched Tolomeo Table in 1987. Designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, it pairs an aluminum structure with articulated, spring-balanced arms; later LED models extend the collection.

A table lamp conceived for movement
A light frame and an adjustable head
The aluminum structure supports an adjustable head with a stamped aluminum reflector. The head can be angled to direct light where it is needed.1
The arm is part of the idea
The articulated arms use a spring mechanism that allows height and tilt adjustment. Rather than treating movement as an accessory, Tolomeo Table makes repositioning central to how the design meets a work surface.1
One name, several distinct table models
Tolomeo Table sits within a larger collection that includes separately named Mini, Micro and Midi table models. Artemide’s pages also group different table configurations, including standard and LED options. Their measurements and technical values belong to each listed configuration, not to the family as a whole.1,3

A design continued in LED form
Artemide describes its renewed Tolomeo LED collection as easy to maintain and disassemble. The LED range is a later chapter in the collection, following the articulated table design launched in 1987.3
The code resolves what the silhouette cannot
| Tolomeo Table body configuration | Code | Listed power | Listed colour temperature |
|---|---|---|---|
| LED 2700 K | A0048W00 | 8 W | 2700 K |
| LED 3000 K | A004800 | 8 W | 3000 K |
| LED TW | 1530050A | 11 W | 2200–6500 K |
| Presence-detector LED 3000 K | A005400 | 8 W | 3000 K |
These are body-lamp references in the current Table listing. Keep the chosen support or fixing separate when assembling an order; “Body Lamp” does not by itself identify every component shown in an interior photograph. The spring-assisted movement explains the family resemblance, while the code identifies the electrical configuration and controls being compared.1
