Named for Battista “Pinin” Farina, the Battista combines an electric four-motor layout with a distinct company story: Automobili Pininfarina is the maker, while Pininfarina SpA is a separately credited project partner.

A name with a history
Automobili Pininfarina announced Battista as the first car in its electric portfolio in 2018. The name honours Battista “Pinin” Farina, founder of the historic Carrozzeria Pininfarina. Four motors are architecture; a finish is a choice
Battista’s 120 kWh battery feeds four motors, one for each wheel. That defines a mechanical arrangement independently of the body colour or special-edition name. The driver’s screens occupy a different layer of the project, presenting information within the eyeline. Reading propulsion, interface and exterior detail separately makes the car easier to understand than one headline power figure.5
The Exterior Jewellery Pack uses aluminium with a bespoke painted or anodised finish. The active rear wing can carry a contrasting colour beneath it. These details concern material, surface and personalisation, while the moving wing also has an aerodynamic role. Keep the optional pack and the exact photographed specification visible when comparing two Battistas: their different finishes need not imply a different propulsion system.5
