Try it in the kitchen

Use a small handful of wild rocket in a salad with pear and a firm cheese, or scatter it over cooked white beans before serving. Its more pronounced flavour makes it useful as an accent as well as a salad leaf.

In chef Iginio Massari’s schiacciatelle recipe, wild rocket cooks with tomato and marinated salmon in the sauce; fresh leaves finish the dish.

Ask for wild rocket

Choose wild rocket when you want narrower, jagged leaves and a stronger flavour. Ask specifically for the wild type: the English names rocket and arugula are broader labels.
