Venezianico: Watches with Venetian References

Founded in 2017, the watch brand connects a contemporary project to Venice and its visual heritage.

Explore Venezianico’s origins, Venetian design references and the V5000 movement project.

A young watch brand with Venetian roots

The Morelli brothers founded Venezianico in late 2017 while studying at Ca’ Foscari University. Their early idea joined an interest in watchmaking with the city where they grew up.1,2

The clock tower cross as a sign

The brothers say the brand’s logo takes inspiration from a golden Renaissance cross atop the Clock Tower in St Mark’s Square. That detail ties the visual identity to Venice in the founders’ own account.1,2

Venetian architecture in a watch design

The Redentore line takes its name and design reference from Andrea Palladio’s Basilica del Redentore. Venezianico describes the watch’s balanced proportions as a contemporary interpretation of the building.3
