Barolo

Barolo is Piedmont's most celebrated DOCG wine, known as "il vino dei re, il re dei vini" (the wine of kings, the king of wines). Made exclusively from Nebbiolo in eleven communes of the Langhe hills, Barolo represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking. The wine requires minimum 38 months aging (18 in wood) before release, with Riserva requiring 62 months. Barolo's power, complexity, and exceptional aging potential make it one of the world's finest red wines.
